This is a good question... When will the request page be ready?

when i saw my log-in id coming back - i thought that we shall soon get the request page organised... but there is still no link... so what exactly is the purpose of the log-in? what do we do except for discussing???

The idea behind the login is so anyone who makes requests are registered users. Random requests from people who are not actually listening will hurt all the registered users. Some people will like to prank request some stuff over and over and I want to limit that. Of course anyone can register but I can view the logs of requests and make sure things are good.

The requests for this station are handled automatically and do not need to involve a person. We will eventually have a DJ or two, maybe even more, but for those unmanned hours I do want to have a bit of decorum. Also it looks pretty sweet that requests can show user names, and maybe even dedications.

The answer to the original question posed was "When" will this request page be done? The answer is that the backend is done. The MySQL calls are being completed by our web guru, Digifuzz (http://www.digifuzz.net). The CMS pieces will be created by me over the next week. I need to figure out how this CMS works and how I can limit what content gets viewed to each person. Once that's done then the rest is easy.

Well, I spent an hour and made a sketchy request page. It is far from done and it will not look like this at all when completed. The basic functionality will be the same but it will look more like the front page does.

However, it does work, so please feel free to utilize it as I add more options into it.
